WindStar Properties Completes Lease with Starbucks

Starbucks first opened the Mansfield Crossing location at Matlock Road and Debbie Lane in 2001 and experienced immediate success. When the landlord, Mansfield Matlock Investors I, Ltd. decided to build a new phase to the center, Starbucks jumped at the chance to secure a drive-thru. The new 2,400 square foot prototype opened in early December and has received much praise from the community. Starbucks started as a single store in Seattle’s historic Pike Place Market and today has more than 17,000 stores in 55 countries. It is the premier roaster and retailer of specialty coffee in the world. Cynthia Bailey of WindStar Properties represented the landlord, Mansfield Matlock Investors I, Ltd. The tenant was represented by Bryan Cornelius of Venture Commercial Real Estate, LLC.
